Project Manager for a large project

in Central Indiana and surrounding areas. Relocationassistance available.

This is a high profile role for aclient and for our Operation & Maintenance LFG Division. The qualifiedcandidate will be responsible for scope, schedule and budget as well as workingclosely with the customer on a daily basis. Experience as a Project Manager isa must. Landfill gas systems experience is a plus.

TtAEG is seeking a Project Manager to lead landfill gas system projects for our

central Indiana and surrounding landfill sites. The successful candidate will

be responsible for providing project management, budget, technical support, and

staff supervision for a variety of solid waste management related projects.

Essential Duties& Responsibilities:

  • Perform work with an unwavering focus onsafety, maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy workenvironment

  • Proactively provide the highest qualityservices and superior value to our clients

  • Supervise and perform operation,maintenance, and construction on landfill gas collection and controlsystems

  • Primaryclient point of contact for your projects

  • Responsiblefor prioritizing, organizing, and managing the contracted scope of work

  • Manageall aspects of scope, schedule, budget, and quality for each of yourprojects

  • Provideorientation, training, direction, scheduling, coaching, counseling, anddiscipline of your team

  • Provideleadership for your team

  • Successfullyprovide for the timely completion of the contacted scope of work

  • Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor,and assess quality and productivity of your team

  • Manage project sub-contractors

  • Procure and coordinate delivery ofmaterials, equipment, supplies, and labor for projects

  • Contribute information for strategic plans,reviews, and reports

  • Insure all required paper work and reportsare completed and submitted accurately and on time

  • Understand and comply with all applicablelaws, rules, regulations, and permits

  • Perform system operation, maintenance, andconstruction activities in accordance with

  • Work with and around heavy constructionequipment and excavations on landfills

  • Manage projects to effectively meet and/orexceed company margin goals and quality of work expectations

  • Assist on proposal and cost estimatepreparation and perform proposal and cost estimate reviews

  • Work overtime, nights, weekends, andholidays, as necessary

  • Professionally present yourself andcommunicate with clients and peers (both written and oral)

  • Working knowledge of grade / surveyequipment, construction / heavy equipment operation, construction drawingsand other typical construction equipment and technologies

  • Provide for organization and time management

  • Utilize standard technology and software

  • As needed, assist the efforts of the Area,Regional, and General Managers

Qualifications:

Requirements & PreferredExperience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related environmental discipline required

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience and managementresponsibility with at least 3 years directly leading projects

  • Experiencein a field based decentralized dynamic operation.

Proven

track record in the areas of costing, take-offs and estimating.

A

team player with the ability and willingness to pitch in as needed in areas

outside core responsibilities and expertise.

  • Strongknowledge of regulatory environment as it applies to landfill environmentalcontrol systems.

  • Experience leading field staff, laborers, equipment operators, andother personnel on projects.

  • Must pass drug test, background check and must have asatisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR)policy

Knowledge& Skills:

  • Good organizational, technical, writing, communication andteam-building skills

  • Ability to establish effective working relationships withsubcontractors required

  • OSHA 40 HourHAZWOPER is a plus

  • Clearlycommunicates rationale in support of key strategic decisions

  • Ability to take initiative, work wellunder pressure, and work independently

  • Ability to assist teams and interactwith all levels in the organization

  • Demonstrates good judgement and makesdifficult decisions, using appropriate level of consultation

  • Demonstrates confidence and credibility

  • Proficiencyin the use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject and CAD

  • Stronginterpersonal and communication skills

  • Familiaritywith statistical methods and research skills
