We are a national General Contractor with offices in seven states, while currently performing commercial and municipal work in ten states. We are seeking a Safety Manager to join our Indiana team.
The Safety Manager will be able to lead and drive a progressive approach to health and safety needed to ensure the success of the company safety program. Position will actively engage and partner with Field Superintendents, Field staff, Project management, Executive Management team and Human Resources to sustain a safety culture that promotes a safe work place free of incident and injury and complies with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
Assist field management in the preparation of project safety road maps, job risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
Prepare site safety plans for large projects.
Evaluate safety task plans and provide feedback on opportunities for improvement and recognition.
Perform regular Job site safety inspections to evaluate safety conditions.
Ensure that workers are following established policies and safety regulations.
Collaborate with subcontractor supervisors and safety professionals on job specific injury prevention measures.
Identify safety training needs, develop course content, and deliver course training as needed.
Create a safe work culture.
Keep current with new safety regulations.
What You Need for this Position
