This is a role well-suited to anambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a MaintenanceTechnician , you will be responsible for :

  • Hands-ontroubleshooting of equipment such as conveyors, stretch wrappers, cartonerectors

  • Non-machinepreventative maintenance throughout the distribution center

  • Repairand installation of office lighting, office furniture, and electricalcircuits.

  • Assistingin equipment installation and maintenance planning/scheduling

  • Othermiscellaneous maintenance and facility support tasks

  • Mechanical,electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in an industrial setting

  • Electricalsystems and motor controls (3 phase 480VAC)

  • Readingand understanding blueprints, drawings, sketches, layouts, and equipmentmanuals

  • Preventativemaintenance processes

  • HVACand plumbing preferred

  • Firecontrol systems preferred

  • Ableto drive powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts,boom lifts

Required skills to have for thesuccess of this role

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years’ demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, preferable indistribution center

  • Strongmechanical and problem-solving aptitude

  • Workingknowledge of safety protocols for electrical, mechanical and maintenancework

  • Ableto work independently

  • Demonstratesinitiative

  • Abilityto learn and apply policies, procedures, standards and guidelines

  • Mathand reading skills, and basic computer operation skills

  • Theability to receive, understand and accurately respond to questions anddirection from supervisors / managers and other company personnel

  • Goodcomputer skills

  • Ableto climb stairs and ladders, working from heights up to 45 feet

  • Mustbe able to work in a cold environment for extended period of time andoccasionally in extreme cold

  • Mustbe able to lift up to 75 lbs. without assistance

  • Mustbe able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Mustpossess a valid driver’s license

  • 15%shift differential
