We are adding to our Service Department and are hiring Commercial HVAC Service Technicians at all skill levels. The Commercial Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems utilizing their knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatics and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing and mechanical layouts.
What are the expectations? Our expectations are simple – Have a willingness to learn and if you have experience, learn how we do it here. Communicate details clearly, and timely. Strong customer relations skills, and ability to accurately and timely complete necessary paperwork.
What will line you up for success? You’ll have open lines of communication to your team, support staff, and Management. We’ll ensure you are properly trained in all areas of Safety, Company Policies/Procedures, Vendor/Manufacturer training, and other certifications necessary to be successful.
Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned maintenance agreements, service calls, and projects, ensuring customer satisfaction
Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
Uses a variety of hand tools, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
Prepares for on-site repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service
Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
Keeps current all manufacturers’ products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
Provides technical support to customers
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
Journeyman level commercial HVAC service experience
Valid driver's license and clear MVR
EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification preferred
Can successfully pass a criminal background check, drug test, and physical ensuring you can preform the duties of the job
