Variable. Majority days 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Mon - Fri. Some evenings or nights and some weekends.

Job Location

The Lead Maintenance Technician position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana at Community East.

Job Duties

• Position is part of a teamresponsible for maintaining a hospital environment of care which providesa safe, functional, and clean treatment facility for patients, visitors,and staff

• Ensures all critical, lifesafety, and equipment systems are maintained to ensure their mostefficient operational readiness

Experience

Five (5) years of experience in facility maintenance, and/or relatable industrial, commercial, or institutional experience, and/or construction with hospital maintenance experience highly preferred.

Education

• High School Diploma or GEDequivalent

• Maintenance related technicalschool graduate or five (5) years on the job training

Required License

Certification in one of the following or other technical required licensing:

• Boiler operation

• Refrigerant recovery technician

• Back-flow prevention testing

Skills

Demonstrated skills in one of the following areas and some working knowledge of the remaining required:

• HVAC equipment

• Stream generation systems

• Electrical and powerdistribution

• Refrigeration equipment

• Construction methods

• Plumbing

• Mechanical maintenance

• Ability to read and interpretblueprints, schematics, and writing diagrams

• Working knowledge ofmaintenance principles, theories, and operations

• Knowledge of basic hand andpower tools

• Good oral and writtencommunication, including reading and writing skills a high school graduatelevel

• Ability to work with peers in ateam situation
