WSP is currently initiating a search for a Civil Department Lead/Roadway Project Manager for our Indianapolis office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee civil engineering staff and projects while collaborating with a variety of project teams within WSP USA.
Managing project teams to provide quality delivery on projects of all types and sizes.
Responsible for contract and financial management.
Marketing, Proposal Writing, and business development

A minimum of 15 years of experience in civil/transportation engineering.
Strong background in developing preliminary and final engineering deliverables.
The ability to lead and guide civil engineering staff.
Successful project management experience.
The ability to provide value in marketing and business development activities.
Familiarity with AASHTO and State DOT Criteria and Standards.
An excellent communicator and team leader.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited civil engineering program.
Ability to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and criteria using sound judgment.
INDOT and Indiana Local Municipality Experience
Understanding and knowledge of MicroStation and InRoads and/or Geopak Software.
Any background in design-build and/or fast track large scale/mega projects is a plus.
