TEKsystems Cable Technician - Avon Schools in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description:

TEKsystems will be supporting Avon school districts in a bunch of different projects. One project being running new fiber cabling underneath the football stadium to a side building replacing the current copper wire. Another project is just simple replacement of network cabling in current data buildings. Lastly, they will be installing new cable and cameras for specific schools in the district.

Cable Technician

TEKsystems will be looking for 2 experienced cable technicians to support the Eastern Hancock School project. The position requires the following

  • 1-2 years of commercial structured cabling experience

  • Ability to read/follow commercial site blueprints/installation prints

  • Must have all tools needed for commercial structure cable installation.

  • Camera Installation experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Candidate needs to be self starters and motivated to complete work daily. The project is slated to run 3-4 months and we need candidate that can work diligently on install pace to stay on schedule with the project plans.
