Key Accountabilities Duties may include but are not limited to: * Locating * Flushing hydrants after repairs * Operation and maintenance of distribution valves * Investigation of pressure complaints * No water calls * Conduct/observe pressure tests on new mains, collect samples from new mains * Maintenance, repair and installation of services, meters, mains, valves, and hydrants Key Accountabilities - Continued * Read maps and drawings * Read Mobil Maps * Verbal communications – face to face, telephone, email * Install and replace 2” and larger meters * Collections of water samples following main repair * Will have to stand Service Watch as may be required * Other duties as assigned The current work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with a one-half hour unpaid lunch break. The appropriate Indiana Department of Environmental Management Certification (DSL) shall be required.
