Summary/Objective:
The chassis fab trainer will be responsible for training chassis fabricators. The trainer will be training team members to the standards defined in the tier system and training documentation. Trainer must be able to demonstrate safe behavior for welders, grinders, plasma cutters, and lifting techniques. The trainer will be working with new team members, current team members, and local plant leadership.

Working Conditions:
Primarily working indoors.
May stand for several hours at a time.
Repetitive use of hands to operate welders, plasma cutters, grinders, hammers, and parts.
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Qualifications:
- High school degree or GED
Essential Functions:
Train new hires on safety, blueprints, basic job competencies.
Report on training for each team member
Help retrain current team members for positions or blueprints

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hourly position, hours/days of work are decided by training schedule and your reporting manager.
Travel:
Travel will be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.
Travel will be less than 5% of the role.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Manufacturing experience with Lippert components
Welding experience
Blueprint experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Associates in welding, Welding Certification, Supervisor experience, Teaching experience.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Must be able to pass EVerify.
