The position will safely operate machines, including and not limited to, such as welders, cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punch that cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as necessary): Perform work in a manner that conforms to company safety policies and practices.Perform work in a manner to meet the process and product quality requirements as defined by project / job specifications and company quality management system. Perform work in a manner to meet or exceed the productivity goals set by supervisor. Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Work with others in a team environment to accomplish project schedulesBe able to work extended hours and / or off shift work schedule if requiredMust practice company values and beliefsMust participate in company teaming cultureMaterial Fabrication:Preparation, layout, and fit of stainless Steel and aluminum partsWelding of Stainless Steel aluminum parts to meet customer demandsGrinding, polishing and finishing welds to meet or exceed quality standardsComplete operations at or above set Doppler ratesBundle, label and stage material in preparation for customer shipmentWelders must pass AWS qualification testQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School or equivalentMechanical aptitude2 years preferred layout, fitting and welding experienceAble to read and interpret engineering drawing and blue prints Able to effectively use measuring devicesPrefer basic knowledge and/or experience with computer systems, hardware and/or software.Prefer knowledge and/or experience with metal fabricationLANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read and write in English MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to prove proficiency in mathematical skillsV. PHYSICAL DEMANDS 1. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods2. Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
