Utilities Crew Laborer-positions. Selge Construction is seeking qualified candidates for the INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation) OJT Training Program.Women and minorities are welcome to apply!30 Day Probationary Period.Job Requirements:1. Must be at least 21years of age and submit reasonable proof of birth date.2. Must present High School/College transcripts including attendance. (Minimum of GED will be accepted.)3. Must pass DOT type pre-employment drug test and submit to random tests thereafter.4. Must possess a valid drivers license and BMV check. (Class A CDL preferred)5. Must be available to travel to multiple worksites that occasionally require staying overnight on a very occasional basis.6. Must be able to work in severe weather conditions: heat, cold and sometimes snow and rain.7. Job duties require overtime occasionally and sometimes with little notice.8. Must have mechanical aptitude and work with noisy machines, equipment and mechanicalprocesses. (Personal Protective equipment supplied)9. Must be able to perform physically demanding work most of an 8-hour shift including; lifting, kneeling, shoveling, squatting, climbing up and down ladders/soil embankments, andoccasionally working in deep mud.10. Must be able to concentrate on a high attention to detail for long periods of time. Very Detailed oriented.11. Must be able to lift and carry 80 lbs. (i.e bags of mortar)12. Must be able to receive and accept instruction in complex circumstances/situations.13. References are required and will be checked.14. Candidates need reliable transportation and must report to the assigned job location at theassigned time.
