Tetra Tech AEG (TtAEG) is currently seeking a Project Manager for a large project in Central Indiana and surrounding areas. Relocation assistance available. This is a high profile role for a client and for our Operation and Maintenance LFG Division. The qualified candidate will be responsible for scope, schedule and budget as well as working closely with the customer on a daily basis. Experience as a Project Manager is a must. Landfill gas systems experience is a plus. TtAEG is seeking a Project Manager to lead landfill gas system projects for our central Indiana and surrounding landfill sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing project management, budget, technical support, and staff supervision for a variety of solid waste management related projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform work with an unwavering focus on safety, maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment Proactively provide the highest quality services and superior value to our clients Supervise and perform operation, maintenance, and construction on landfill gas collection and control systems Primary client point of contact for your projects Responsible for prioritizing, organizing, and managing the contracted scope of work Manage all aspects of scope, schedule, budget, and quality for each of your projects Provide orientation, training, direction, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and discipline of your team Provide leadership for your team Successfully provide for the timely completion of the contacted scope of work Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, and assess quality and productivity of your team Manage project sub-contractors Procure and coordinate delivery of materials, equipment, supplies, and labor for projects Contribute information for strategic plans, reviews, and reports Insure all required paper work and reports are completed and submitted accurately and on time Understand and comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and permits Perform system operation, maintenance, and construction activities in accordance with Work with and around heavy construction equipment and excavations on landfills Manage projects to effectively meet and/or exceed company margin goals and quality of work expectations Assist on proposal and cost estimate preparation and perform proposal and cost estimate reviews Work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary Professionally present yourself and communicate with clients and peers (both written and oral) Working knowledge of grade / survey equipment, construction / heavy equipment operation, construction drawings and other typical construction equipment and technologies Provide for organization and time management Utilize standard technology and software As needed, assist the efforts of the Area, Regional, and General ManagersRequirements and Preferred Experience: Bachelor's Degree in related environmental discipline required Minimum of 5 years relevant experience and management responsibility with at least 3 years directly leading projectsExperience in a field based decentralized dynamic operation.Proven track record in the areas of costing, take-offs and estimating.A team player with the ability and willingness to pitch in as needed in areas outside core responsibilities and expertise.Strong knowledge of regulatory environment as it applies to landfill environmental control systems.Experience leading field staff, laborers, equipment operators, and other personnel on projects.Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy Knowledge and Skills: Good organizational, technical, writing, communication and team-building skills Ability to establish effective working relationships with subcontractors requiredOSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER is a plusClearly communicates rationale in support of key strategic decisionsAbility to take initiative, work well under pressure
